Hi David. That's now done. Click on ... on the top left after you clicked on a picture on a place profile and you have an option "View on Instagram".

The pictures in the feed are classified from the newest to the old. However we're adding a function where you'll be able to open a photo you have selected on Instagram (so a direct link to Instagram) so you'll be able to check at what date that particular photo was taken.
